❤️ On June 18th, GLSC will host a special workout honoring Charlotte Westley. ❤️ Charlotte passed away in late April following a 3-year battle with Stage IV cancer. The wife of long-time member, Tim Richey, and mother of member, Jacob Richey, Charlotte trained with Coach Jean Anne during her chemotherapy treatment. Being part of the GLSC community helped her build the physical and mental strength to stay resilient in the face of her disease. She was a special member of our community who left us far too soon. 🚴♂️This summer, Tim and Jacob are participating in The Empire State Ride, a 7-day, 570-mile cycling journey across NY State to raise money for cancer research. They are riding to honor Charlotte and to help other families meet the challenges of diagnosis and treatment. Donations power cutting-edge cancer research and innovative clinical trials at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. GLSC will be collecting and matching $20 donations to support Tim and Jacob’s fundraising efforts.
