While we have yet to see someone transmit COVID-19 within our facility, we have had a recent increase in gym members testing positive for COVID due to outside exposure.
To date, we have had 139 gym members in classes with an athlete that developed symptoms shortly after class. So far, none of those have led to further transmission in the gym. Please help us keep up that record by continuing to follow these important policies.
Here’s a quick reminder of our COVID-19 policies that have kept our community safe for the last 1.5 years:
- If you are sick in any way, please stay home!
- Proof of vaccination is required.
- Wear your mask while indoors.
- Sanitize and return your equipment when you’re finished with it.
- Wash your hands on the way into and out of the gym.
- Please email us if you test positive for COVID-19 (or are reasonably confident that you have it).
Note: If you cancel late due to feeling sick, please cancel the class so the coach knows, then email [email protected]. We will gladly waive the late cancel fee if it’s due to illness!
We are contact tracing for 2 days prior to symptoms
We have been doing contact tracing for any current gym members who’ve tested positive for COVID-19. Current guidelines are that we contact any people nearby within 2 days of symptoms appearing. We will do that via email and SMS.
If you are contacted by us as being exposed to someone who tested positive AND you are vaccinated AND you have no symptoms, you are still welcome to come to the gym. If you develop any symptoms, please let us know so we can put your membership on hold until you get a negative test or 5 days after your symptoms clear.
