Meet Tali! A little bit about Tali in her own words:
I’m a Seattle native, and have been weightlifting in some capacity since sophomore year of college. For work, I have a business where I coach professionals on improving their job interview performance. I love making content – last year, I posted over 400 reels sharing interview tips and strategies.
Fun fact: I’ve had two careers before this one – one in project management, and the other as a camera operator in the film industry. (Funner fact: this summer, my partner and I adopted a havanese poodle puppy, Charlie, and he is a big momma’s boy 🐶)
How long have you been a member of GLSC?
I joined the gym in September of 2021, so I’ve been a member for a little over 3 years.
How has being a part of the gym benefitted you?
I work from home, so going to the gym at the end of my workday gets my body moving AND gets me a sense of community that can be hard to get when you’re fully remote. I love that people here want to socialize and hang out outside of the gym (speaking of which, you should join our gym’s Whatsapp group!)
What is your favorite movement or workout?
I started going to Coach Joe’s Saturday Barbell Club at the beginning of the year, and am now OBSESSED with the two Olympic movements (the Snatch and Clean & Jerk). I will move mountains to get to that class – the only time I miss it is when I’m out of town.
What is your favorite music or pump up song?
Boss B**** by Doja Cat, and any Big Booty mashup – I’ve rarely had a bad workout to a Big Booty mix 🙂
