We all gave $1,000 to Recovery Cafe
Thanks to everyone who came to join us for the workout, brought a friend, and those who chose to give to the Recovery Cafe. Together we gave an impressive $1,000!

Strength Cycle is now Strength Series
Our Strength Cycle class is now called Strength Series to reduce some confusion… It’s weightlifting, not bike riding. For the next 6 weeks starting this week, we will focus on front squats and push jerk.

What is the Strength Series class?
This specialty class is a 6-week series of strength-only training focused on the power lifts: back squat, shoulder press, deadlift, and bench press. These classes also include accessory lifts to help prevent injuries, while building strength in the supporting muscle groups.

Our Strength Series classes are a great opportunity to dive a bit deeper into details on these foundational lifts, improve your technique, and build measurable strength over a 6-week series.

Who should come to Strength Series classes?
Everyone! If you want to measure steady progress over time, we recommend completing the full series. However, if you just want to drop in and have fun lifting weights, that’s great too!

Strength Series classes are included as a regular gym visit in all memberships.

When are Strength Series classes?
7:00a, 4:30p, and 5:30p on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They will appear in Wodify with the name “Strength Series” and will operate out of the turf room.
Tuesdays: Front Squat + accessory
Thursdays: Push Jerk + accessory

Bring a Friend Friday (tomorrow)
We are offering another Bring a Friend Friday (BFF) event this Friday December 6. We will have beginner-friendly (and scalable) workouts programmed. Have a friend who’s been curious why you’ve been raving about GLSC to them all the time?! For this special event, they are not required to do an on-ramp or no sweat intro. But they do need to sign up, and spaces are limited. So send them this link to join you in class!
