Mobility – 2:30PM every Saturday with Coach Paul
Mobility is important for CrossFit and your overall quality of life. In this class, you will learn how to target tight muscles, release tension in those muscles, how to use breathing to increase range of motion, and how to build strength in those new positions so you can move pain-free in a workout. Why is mobility so important? If you don’t have the mobility to move through a range of motion without pain, you are likely to limit exercises that require that movement, and you won’t get the full benefit of a workout. If you force through the movement without proper mobility, you could end up with an injury that could sideline your workout plan for days, weeks, or even months. Mobility is also important for a high quality of life, particularly as we age. When you don’t have sufficient mobility, regular daily activities become difficult.

Barbell Club – 2:30PM every Sunday with Coach Laura
This class will focus on the Olympic lifts: the snatch, the clean, and the clean and jerk. As good form becomes second nature, we will build on strength, so you will be able to move heavy loads safely. We will become familiar with foot work, fast elbows, hook grip, front rack position, strength drills, mobility, and taking your time to perfect the lifts.

Smaller open gym classes due to COVID-19 changes
Due to the latest regulations, we will restrict our open gym classes to only 3 members per session, effective immediately. This will allow us to keep the indoor space to only 5 members at a time, including personal training clients.

Thanks for all your feedback and support. It’s been crazy times, and we couldn’t do it without your support.

Gratefully,
Kate and Nate
