Teen course starting Tues, Feb 28 @ 7:30PM

We’re excited to announce that we will be starting up a 6-week teen fitness class on Tuesday nights at 7:30PM. This 6-week course is designed as an introduction on how to move safely and effectively and build a solid strength training foundation for kids 12 – 17 years old. Teens are coached on the fundamentals of the basic lifts (squatting, deadlifting, pressing) and learning how to scale appropriately under the watchful eye of a coach.

Sofia Garcia-Garcia will be leading these courses. She’s been teaching teen classes at CrossFit Deliverance for the last 2 years. Sofia moved to Seattle 5 years ago to pursue her Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from New York City, where she worked at Crossfit NYC. She transitioned to coaching the teens class as it allows her to combine two of her great joys: crossfit and working with kids! You can often find her running Green Lake early in the morning with her dog Cash or trying to finish that hand-knit sweater she started so many months ago.
